Imagine you never heard of human rights. Imagine you fled your home country because of a brutal dictatorship.
Now imagine the relief in knowing that the international community is on your side.
Every year at SDC, students are given the opportunity to study international human rights and law, and ways that they can guarantee their freedom. This is truly a unique opportunity, since most resources on the subject are in English and are not available in Burmese, leaving the majority of refugees in the dark about democracy and international aid. We also offer the opportunity to learn more by regularly using guest trainers. An example of this is our Legal training.
